Our firm is composed of two studios. The first, "Buildings Studio" is a shorthand - like our firm's name - to confirm our commitment to place-centered (as opposed to building-centered) architecture.
Architecture is a window into our environment, a way to amplify the experience of place, and a mandate to live in balance within the natural world. We believe in using architecture to connect with this ever-changing world, and in so doing - elevate the function of the building. This philosophy guides our institutional, commercial and residential work towards a deeper sustainability, and a truer purpose.
