SATURDAYS 8:30am - 12:30pm

  • To download a complete schedule, click here (new schedule will be added when available).

Extending from the third Saturday in June to the last Saturday in September annually, the Perry Farmers' Market - on South Main Street’s downtown Festival Plaza (between Borden and Dolbeer) - hosts fifteen to twenty vendors offering a dazzling array of produce for area residents. Weekly music and demonstrations mingle with a festive, colorful atmosphere, places to sit and catch up with friends or just enjoy the sights and sounds of summer.

A few more things: check out our locally sewn bags available for purchase; and don’t forget about the Perry Chalk Art Festival, Taste of Summer, and Tour de Perry in July as part of your market day.

You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Selection & Variety

The 8:30 - 12:30 market features vendors providing the full spectrum of fresh fruits and vegetables, maple and honey products, meats, fresh baked breads, fry cakes, cookie, and pies, locally roasted coffee, cut flowers and hanging baskets, herbs, eggs, certified organic chickens, and other unique and homemade products. Farmers' Market Nutrition coupons, available through Office of the Aging and Women, Infants and Children (WIC), will be accepted at the market.

Summer Saturday Arts Series*

Each Saturday from 10am til about 12:15, we have live music. Performers come from Rochester, Buffalo, and everywhere in between, usually a mix of returning favorites like Maria Gillard, Connie Deming, and The Band Anastazja (Fratterigo family), Mike Strobel, Dark Road Duo, Steve West, the Biggest Little Band, Gordon Mundig and more. In addition, many weeks bring art and craft demonstrations in fields such as Fiber Arts, Tatting, Photography, Sculpture, Flint Knapping and others. There are periodic cooking demonstrations, and in July we even get in on the Shakespeare Festival with preview scenes from Shake on the Lake's upcoming performance.

All this is under the pavilion at the market. There is plenty of shady seating, a restaurant vendor at the market and several hot and cold drink options can be found on Main Street as well.

Vendor applications can be downloaded here.

See you at the market!

*The Summer Saturdays Arts Series is made possible in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature; administered in Wyoming County by the Arts Council for Wyoming County. We are also thankful to Friends of the Summer Saturdays Arts Series, and for the generous donation of time from Arts Series demonstrators.
